Açu Iapar 59 is a variety of coffee that was developed in Brazil by Instituto Agronômico do Paraná (IAPAR) in the 1970s. It was created by crossing a Mundo Novo plant with a Caturra plant, resulting in a plant with high yield and resistance to diseases.

The number 59 in Açu Iapar 59 comes from the plot number where the plant was first cultivated and tested. It quickly gained popularity among Brazilian coffee farmers and is now widely grown in the country.

At Fazenda Camocim, they cultivate Açu Iapar 59 using biodynamic farming practices. This method of farming goes beyond organic farming and emphasizes the use of natural preparations and composts to improve soil health and increase biodiversity. This Honey Process Coffee is hand-picked at the peak of ripeness and processed using traditional methods. The result is a unique and flavorful coffee with notes of caramel, chocolate, and a hint of citrus. By choosing biodynamic coffee, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee while supporting sustainable and environmentally-friendly farming practices.
